School, college and all group visits

There's a host of things to see and do for groups of all ages across all our sites. Find out how to book for experiences reflected in the curriculum for children age 3-18; from the new Second World War activities at the National War Museum to Connect - the interactive science and technology gallery, with free resources, live demonstrations and hands-on sessions for schools.

Corporate Management Team

National Fund for Acquisitions

Each year, around 150 objects are added to Scotland’s collections through funding from the National Fund for Acquisitions (NFA). Museums, galleries, libraries, archives and record offices all benefit from this funding. You can apply to the NFA for assistance with a purchase if you meet the fund guidelines.

Around 200 volunteers make a valuable contribution to our work at the National Museums Scotland.
