Our Single Equality Scheme and Action Plan

In 2007 National Museums Scotland published three Equality Schemes and Action Plans; for disability, gender and race. These Schemes ended in 2010 and we have developed a new Single Equality Scheme for 2010-2013 covering disability, gender and race.

This new Scheme combines the individual Schemes into one easy to understand document and outlines both our commitment as a service provider and as an employer. 

In the preparation of our Single Equality Scheme, we undertook research with our visitors, staff and a range of external organisations. The Scheme reflects the views, suggestions and feedback we gathered.
