We have been working with young people to find out what they
think about the museum.
Motivation Workshops
Space Unlimited led workshops with young
people from Canongate Youth Project and Firrhill High School to
explore what would attract and motivate them to visit the

Work placements
We worked again with Canongate Youth Project
and our Visitor Operations staff to explode myths about young
people and museum staff. This led to three
young people from Canongate Youth Project spending a day
shadowing staff as part of their work placement activities.
Firrhill High School pupils took part in a
two-day Business Placement with the museum, coming up with ideas
for exhibitions.
