Romans and Gladiators Learn about life as a Roman soldier, try out combat techniques and find out how gladiators entertained the screaming crowds. Pupils will learn about the weapons, equipment and training of a Roman soldier. A number of pupils will dress as Romans and learn some of their fighting techniques. Pupils will gain a greater understanding of Roman society in this turbulent time. Pupils will learn about the training of a gladiator and the proper protocol for the gladiatorial games.
