This E-18S aircraft was operated by Loganair. It flew their first international service, from Glasgow to Stavanger in Norway, via Aberdeen, in July 1969. It was also used to carry newspapers on the Glasgow to Stornoway route.

Due to its long range, this aeroplane also operated longer distance air ambulance flights. These included taking transplant patients to specialist hospitals in the south of England.
