 At the Museum 

  • Come visit the friendly Westyett Alpacas at the front entrance of the museum.
  • Children can visit our craft area and create come country crafts to take home.

Courtyard

  • Browse through our selection of country stalls and try out some fresh local produce.
  • Help out at the farm in our mini-tractors play area (suitable for under 5’s).

Picnic Field

  • Watch amazing sheepdogs swiftly steer Indian running ducks around an assault course at our popular Dog and Duck Show.
  • Witness some ferret racing as the Scottish Ferret Club put their animals to the test to find the fastest ferret.
  • Choose your favourite pig as they race against each other for the winning title.

At the Farm 

  • Observe some working sheepdogs in action as they are judged on their performance while putting the sheep to work.
  • Jump on board one of Dig-a-day’s real excavator diggers and try your hand at some tricky manoeuvres.
  • Witness our farrier in action as he demonstrates his skills while shodding a horse in a traditional forge.
