Tours for visually impaired visitors

To arrange a tour for visitors with visual impairments please email or call 0131 247 4041, giving at least three weeks’ notice.

Signed tours (BSL)

If you wish to enquire about the possibility of booking a BSL interpreter for any tours or other events, please email, giving at least three weeks' notice.

Hearing Helpers

All of our tours offer the use of the Hearing Helper Tour Guide system. This can be asked for on the day but if you have any queries, please email or call 0131 247 4041.

Booked tours

In addition to the regular programme of guided tours, you may book tours for individuals and groups by contacting or calling 0131 247 4041 for details. You can see a full list of the tours available here [PDF 112KB].

Tours are subject to guide availability and a minimum of 3 weeks’ notice is requested. One guide will be allocated to every 15 visitors. The cost of a booked tour is £5.00 per person with a minimum charge of £50.00 per guided tour.
