Eating
The tearoom at the National Museum of Costume offers a
range of irresistible home-baking and tempting treats, including
homemade soups, cakes and biscuits. Visitors can enjoy a light
lunch or a snack in the tearoom or the garden, where there are
picnic tables overlooking the lawn. You can download a
sample menu here.
The tearoom offers a combination of counter and table service
and is open Monday to Sunday 10:00 to 17:00 (last orders
16:30).
The tearoom is also open to non-museum visitors.
National Museums Scotland Members receive a
20% discount in the tearoom.
Shopping
The Museum Shop at the National Museum of Costume offers
items to suit all ages, from dolls and toys to silk
scarves and decorated masks. It also sells a range of Victorian
reproduction items, including nightdresses, fans and masks and a
selection of traditional toys, cards, books and jewellery.
All major credit cards are accepted.
The shop is open to non-museum visitors.
National Museums Scotland Members qualify for a
10% discount off their purchases.
