Admission
Disabled visitors pay a concession price for admission, and your
accompanying carer is free.
There is free parking.
Facilities
An accessible toilet and baby changing facilities are available
from the tearoom in the basement section of the House. Standard
toilets and baby changing facilities can be found in the car park.
There is one unadapted toilet situated on the first floor of the
house.
Access
The route from the main roadside car park to the house is steep.
If you have walking difficulties please enter the main drive by the
lodge and bring your car to the parking bays at the front entrance
of the house.
The tearoom, in the basement, is accessible by a side door.
There is a ramp and wheelchair lift at the main entrance to the
house. The ground floor of the museum is accessible by wheelchair.
However, the first floor can only be accessed via stairs.
Guide dogs, hearing dogs and other recognised assistance dogs
are all admitted.
