Dressing up

Birthday parties

From the moment you meet your party host the aviation fun begins!

Birthday fun

A range of activities can include boarding Concorde, investigating Fantastic Flight, creative make and take, dressing up in uniform, air raid siren, completing the assault course, seeing military and passenger aircraft at close quarters and Airfield Explorer rides.

After all the exertion, party goers sit down to a birthday spread in the Aviator Café.

Birthday party comments

"I really liked my party. I liked going on all the planes. I liked all the facts Kevin told us. My favourite thing was the Vulcan and the flight simulator. All my friends had a good time too. The food was great. Me and my mates rated the party 100 out of 10. Thank you for making me happy on my birthday". Finn aged 10.

"We had a fantastic day for Morag's 4th birthday party - our two party hosts were brilliant! The kids (and parents) loved all the activities which included special rides on the Airfield Explorer, seeing lots of passenger and military planes, trying on hats, playing with the interactive games and a tasty birthday lunch! Would recommend without hesitation." Morag's Mum.

“I loved my party and dressing up as a spitfire pilot". Jamie aged 6.

“We thought that the birthday party was excellent...A happy, caring and exciting environment was created by our ‘birthday host’. I would highly recommend the Museum of Flight’s parties. Thank you to all staff who helped to make it a very special day for Matthew.” Matthew's Mum.
