Visiting with children

Families and children of all ages are welcome at the National Museum of Flight.

Facilities

Families and children of all ages are welcome at the National Museum of Flight. You can leave buggies and pushchairs with our visitor services assistants at the ticket desk, and there are lockers available in the shop. Baby changing facilities are available in the Concorde hangar.

Birthday parties

For a really special birthday, why not join our party host for a birthday outing that's out of the stratosphere?

Eating

Children are welcome and in the Aviator Cafe there is a special children's menu, high chairs available and a facility for warming baby bottles.

Want to enjoy the weather outside? Our picnic area is popular with families of all ages. School groups can use our education centre for packed lunch breaks.

Accessibility

The National Museum of Flight enjoys level access, apart from going on-board Concorde, however the Concorde Experience exhibition is accessible to all. There are ramped access areas into all our hangars and our Airfield Explorer on-site transportation.
Bringing your own car? Our free on-site car park provides easy access to the museum.

The National Museum of Flight has trained first aiders on duty and a policy is in place if children become separated from their party.
