Things to do

  • Be part of the jet-set on board our Boeing 707 and find out what supersonic travel was like on Concorde.
  • Investigate the history of the site in the Parachute Store and Fortunes of War
  • Get to grips with the mechanics of flight with our hands-on interactives in Fantastic Flight!

Investigating military aircraft

  • Explore our hangars, Nissen huts, blast shelters and historic buildings to seek out the stars of the show: Comet and Concorde, Tiger Moth and Tornado, Spitfire and Sea Hawk, Jetstream and Jaguar.
  • The Aviator Café is open all day with a full range of home made soups and home baking, plus teas, coffees and other hot and cold snacks.
  • Our shop is also open all week for your to purchase those essential aviation goodies!
