Garden Detectives
Unearth nature's little secrets in Garden Detectives!
This exhibition gave young children the opportunity
to find out what lives and grows in parks and gardens,
hedges and ponds - all within the walls of the National Museum of
Scotland.

With interactive exhibits and real live specimens, kids could
take a larger-than-life look at plants and flowers, learn
fascinating facts about nature and experience all the sounds and
smells of a real garden without getting your hands dirty.

Our summer exhibition celebrated the 200th anniversary of the
birth of Charles Darwin, and 150 years since the publication of his
research, 'The Origin of Species'.
Garden Detectives is currently running at the National Museum of Rural Life.
