One Thousand Points of Light

One Thousand Points of Light

One Thousand Points of Light was Dutch artist Melvin Moti’s first UK solo show.

For the exhibition, Melvin Moti created a new film Eigenlicht, meaning ‘intrinsic light’, that captures the spectrum of vibrant colours the minerals emit under UV light. The film was shown alongside a selection of specimens and artefacts chosen from across the collection by Moti, ranging from fluorescing fossils and scorpions to uranium scent bottles.

You can see how the exhibition was installed here and download the gallery guide here.
