Behind the Scenes

Fascinating facts and surprising stories about the transformation of the National Museum of Scotland.

What’s the smallest object on display in the new National Museum of Scotland? The tallest? The newest? How much bubble-wrap was used to pack away our collections? How many kilometers of tissue paper? These questions and more are answered in our new exhibition, Behind the Scenes, which tells the story of the transformation of our museum.
