On Dino-Night our museum galleries are yours to explore with
special activities listed below!

Museum Brasserie
The Museum Brasserie will be open from 17:00 serving
a hearty menu of burgers, veggie burgers and steak - perfect for
sinking the teeth into! Burgers cost £8.50 and halloumi burgers

our exciting new mobile app. Capture the Museum is an exciting new
team game where the museum is the battlefield. Supported by an
innovative mobile app, players roam the museum and capture
territory for their clan by interacting with exhibits.
Cool Creatures – Meet some incredible reptiles
up-close with Cool
Creatures.
Dino DNA Cocktail – help the Novo Science team isolate DNA
from bacteria found in fossilised dinosaur poo. Can we bring them
back to life and will they be friendly or the next super-plague?

20:15 Askasaurus – Evolution to extinction in
20 minutes with assistant curator Dr Sarah Stewart.
21:00 Tattie Devine – The Red Door Gallery presents a
unique opportunity to hear Tatty Devine co-founder Harriet
Vine discuss striking jewellery designs that combine fashion, art
and culture.
Learning Centre Level 2
Fantoosh Face Art Lab – Choose from tonight’s
amazing dinosaur inspired designs from Fantoosh Art.
Art Wonderland 4 – Join the Red Door Gallery for an
exclusive Dinosaur Bone necklace workshop with special guests
Tatty Devine surrounded
by dinosaur prints from a selection of artists. Get there early
before places are extinct!
Animal World (Level 1)
Museum of Curiosities – Handle some fascinating
dinosaur objects from the museum’s collections including a full
size cast of an Allosaurus skull.
Another Thing of the Past – Explore current
conservation issues and cast your vote.
Living Lands (Level 1)
Magic Carpet – Chill out and make your own
T.rex mask.
