The Reading Hour on St Andrew's Day
At 11:00 on 30 November 2012, thousands of people across
Scotland will stop what they’re doing and read. The Reading Hour
will happen anywhere and everywhere and you can easily be a part of
it.
Join us at the National Museum of Scotland to take part in one
of the events below or simply bring along a book, find a quiet
corner and read. If you don’t have your own book you can pick up a
free copy of ‘My Favourite Place’ or visit our Library or Info Zone
for some inspiration.
Meet Alexander McCall Smith
