Release your inner bard to celebrate Burns
Night at the National Museum of Scotland over the weekend of 26 and
27 January.
Friday 25 January
Get into the spirit on Burns' Night (or day!) at the Museum Brasserie, where haggis, veggie haggis
and whisky will be served all day.
Saturday 26 January

Sunday 27 January
Live performances
From 14:45 celebrate Burns Night with a celebration of
Scotland's finest contemporary creative talent.
Hosted by actor and commedienne Karen Dunbar, participate in a
public recital of 'To a Mouse' and watch live performances by award
winning singer Amy
Macdonald, young Scottish band Skerryvore and Scottish
harpist and singer Jennifer Port.
Rabbies Rammy
Time: 12:00-16:00
- Burns themed storytelling session on the Magic Carpet for
younger visitors ages 3-6, at various times throughout the day
- Explore the museum with our 'To a Mouse' gallery trail,
suitable for all
- Burns themed craft activities in the Learning Centre,
Level 4 for everyone

Practise for our mass recital of Robert Burns' famous ode 'To a
Mouse' with our karaoke-style video, which will also be showing on
