A city-wide musical collaboration
The City Sings is an ambitious project, bringing together some
200 pupils from P4-P7 at Hermitage Park Primary School and 25+
Music in the Community students from the University of Edinburgh.
They are working together to research and perform eight
songs from around the world, accompanied by instruments designed
and created by Victor Gama. The children, with help from the
students, will be assembling the ‘flat pack’ hand-held instruments,
in class, in early 2012.
