Storytelling Festival: The Enchanted Museum

A day of storytelling and performances with wandering storytellers and unexpected happenings at the National Museum of Scotland.

An Enchanting Day at the Museum

Time: From 12:30
Cost: Free, suitable for families

The Museum is a palace of stories and for one afternoon this October, hidden storytellers will appear, voices will be heard and marvellous objects will breathe and move!

No booking required

The Fisher Man and his Wife

Scottish Youth Theatre Family Time
Time: 12:30, for ages 3-7 (40 mins)

Mac-A-Story: It's Grimm Up North

With Ron Fairweather and Fergus McNicol
Time: 14:00, for ages 5+ (50 mins)

East of the Sun, West of the Moon

With Doughty women and daring lassies
Time: 15:30, for ages 7+ (50 mins)

Learning Centre, Level 4

Story-quilting and Russian Crafts

Time: From 13:30 (drop-in)

Multi-sensory storybox workshop

Time: 14:30, for children with additional support needs
