Magic Carpet
Dates: Wednesdays during term time
Time: 10:30–10:55 and 11:30-11:55
Cost: Free, suitable for ages 2-4 (plus
accompanying adult)
Booking: Limited places – sign up on the day at
the Information Desk in the Entrance Hall and then meet at the
Lighthouse Lens in the Grand Gallery, Level 1.
Our magic carpet introduces little ones to some of the fantastic
things in the Museum through 25 minutes of stories, songs and

Magic Carpet Minis
Dates: Thursdays during term time
Time: 10:30–10:50 and 11:30-11:50
Cost: Free, suitable for ages 0-2 (plus
accompanying adult)
Booking: Limited places – sign up on the day at
the Information Desk in the Entrance Hall and then meet at the
Lighthouse Lens in the Grand Gallery, Level 1.
We're piloting new magic carpet sessions especially for really
young children and their carers. Come along for songs, stories,
rhymes and objects in the unique museum setting.
Please note that the age recommendations are guidelines only
based on the type of activity we will be offering. You are welcome
to see which is the most suitable for your little ones.
Friday Afternoon Fun

Time: 13:30–16:30 (drop-in)
