Dinner at the National Museum of Rural Life

National Museum of Rural Life

Just eight miles from the city centre of Glasgow, yet far removed from any city life, the Museum of Rural Life is set in a 170-acre farm, gifted to the National Trust for Scotland by the Reid family.

However, this is no static display of the history of agriculture; this is a working farm with Clydesdale horses and prize cows amongst the livestock.

The Museum of Rural Life offers an ideal location for corporate or private clients seeking a secluded location close to Glasgow . The Museum has fantastic facilities accommodating up to 60 clients for day events such as meetings, presentations, team building events. In partnership with our recommended activity firms, there is also the opportunity to enjoy classic outdoor pursuits in the grounds of the farm as well as stimulating team-led indoor activities.

Clients also have the opportunity to hire the Museum's fabulous gallery spaces exclusively for receptions, dinners, dances and weddings in the evening. The Orientation Area, with huge picture windows to the beautiful countryside outside, is perfect for receptions, with the Alistair Grant gallery offering a truly unique experience for evening events.
