Grand Gallery and Entrance Hall

Considered by many to be Scotland’s finest example of Victorian architecture, the Grand Gallery’s infinite slender columns and curving stair cases create a sense of grace and elegance.

The grandeur of this magnificent space is a sumptuous backdrop for an unrivalled dinner, awards ceremony or party. Following the three year refurbishment of the Museum, the Grand Gallery can now accommodate up to 950 guests for formal dining or 1,500 guests for a drinks reception.

The refurbishment has also seen the creation of an additional space which is now available for hire. The newly created street level Entrance Hall with it vaulted arches and stone pillars creates a unique atmosphere whilst providing first class facilities for guests. Although a venue space in its own right, the Entrance Hall provides the perfect location for drinks receptions prior to dinner in the Grand Gallery.
