Mechanical parade

scooters and more – will go around the site so that you can see
these mechanical marvels in action.
Tech Tent
In the Tech Tent meet research engineers who will excite you
with talks, workshops and things to see from the cutting edge
of technology. From wave power to medicine delivered by nano
bubbles and fossil bird brains to cruise missiles, the world of the
future will be revealed. This tent is made possible by an Ingenious
Grant from the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Family fun will include building your own toys from recycled
materials, technical challenges and making things that fly.
East Fortune's Magnificent Machines
There will also be a chance to look around our own collection of
Magnificent Machines inside and
out and to see Concorde the
most magnificent machine of all!
