We need volunteers to assist the Learning Team with the running of the popular Christmas Art Competition at National Museum of Scotland.

Location: National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh

Opportunity: To assist the Learning Team with the running of the popular Christmas Art Competition. This will involve the handing-out and collecting of participant entries in a fast-paced and fun environment. This annual event is open to all ages and abilities. Participants are provided with basic drawing materials and encouraged to draw an object or scene from the Museum. The competition has been running for over 40 years and is popular with our regular visitors and different generations of families.

When required: The competition runs over 4 days between 10:30 – 16:30. Each day has 2 shifts (with breaks). Any one or combination of the following is welcomed, though we advise only volunteering for one slot per day if possible:

Thursday 27 – Sunday 30 December

Shift 1: 10:00 – 13:30
Shift 2: 13:00 – 16:30

Time required: 09.30 to 17.00 (various slots available)
