We are currently looking for volunteer farmhouse guides at the National Museum of Rural Life.

Location: National Museum of Rural Life, East Kilbride

Opportunity: Our happy team of farmhouse guides provide an essential first-hand introduction and interpretation of the historic farmhouse, with the aim of positively and effectively enhancing the visitor’s experience to the National Museum of Rural Life, paying particular attention to sharing the Reid family history and telling the story of their lives over many generations.

When required: This is an on-going volunteer role at National Museums Scotland. It is flexible with hours and days as there is a rota system in place, but ideally if you can offer half a day per week volunteering it would be welcomed.

See the role description for full details.
