Location: National Museum of Rural Life, East Kilbride
Opportunity: As part of our annual informal programme, we are running our Woolly Weekend event for all things woolly at National Museum of Rural Life. We need volunteers to assist with activities over the two-day event. This is one of our largest events and we will have goats and alpacas in our courtyard. A petting zoo with a rabbit, guinea pig, duck, chicken and lots of creepy crawlies, live sheep shearing, sheep life drawing for families, spinning and weaving demonstrations and woolly crafts in our learning centre. You will help to assist with family activities, steward the activity areas and be a general welcoming, friendly face and source of information.
When required: *Saturday/Sunday 28th - 29th May 2022. AM: 10:00 – 13:00 PM: 13:00 – 16:30 or All day: 10:00 – 16:30 *This includes briefing and induction to the role / Health & Safety
