Self-guided, educational groups
You can now request a visit for self-guided educational group visits to the National Museum of Scotland. We ask that all educational groups pre-book prior to their visit to help us manage numbers on site and facilitate the best possible visit for you and your group.
Please note, our cloakroom, lunch room facilities, and some galleries remain closed. You can find out more about what's open here.

A range of safety measures are in place in line with Scottish Government guidelines. This includes the requirement for all staff and visitors aged 12 and over to wear face coverings, enhanced cleaning, sneeze screens and hand sanitising stations.
