How should I prepare my class for this workshop?

This workshop takes place in the National War Museum and various venues within Edinburgh Castle. Maximum capacity 33 children.

What will my pupils do in the workshop?

Pupils will:

  • Learn about the experiences of both a Redcoat and Jacobite soldier.
  • Learn more about the Jacobite risings in Scotland and the role Edinburgh Castle played.
  • Handle real and replica objects and visit the prisons of Edinburgh Castle.
