Beyond the Little Black Dress: St James Quarter Competition

To celebrate the launch of our highly anticipated Beyond the Little Black Dress exhibition, win two tickets to a stylish brunch and fashion showcase at Duck & Waffle on Tuesday 4 July, plus two tickets to our summer exhibition Beyond the Little Black Dress, at the National Museum of Scotland.

The competition closes at 17:00 on Wednesday 28 June. The winner will be picked at random and notified via email.

The event

On Tuesday 4 July, 13:00–16:00, enjoy a drinks reception, three course brunch, followed by tea and coffee, plus a welcome from National Museums Scotland's fashion curator Georgina Ripley, and a fashion showcase featuring little black dresses and looks from coveted brands across St James Quarter. Tickets cost £50, including a £5 charitable donation to National Museums Scotland.

The exhibition

From design classics to cutting-edge catwalk creations, Beyond the Little Black Dress deconstructs this iconic garment and examines the radical power of the colour black in fashion. The exhibition runs at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, 1 July–29 October 2023.

• The competition is open to all UK residents except employees of National Museums Scotland, St James Quarter and Duck and Waffle.
• Draw closes at 17:00 on Wednesday 28 June 2023.
• No third party or bulk entries will be accepted.
• Entrants must be over 18.
• The prize is not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.
• The winner will be drawn at random and notified by email once the competition has closed.
