About Creative Workshops for Kids: In the footsteps of giants

This hands-on workshop invites children to think like palaeontologists, moving between the very small and the extraordinarily large.

Led by theatre-maker and arts educator Marion Geoffray, children will have the chance to uncover fossils and learn some of the key skills palaeontologists use. They will then embark on a guided exploration of our Giants exhibition.

Studying details great and small, children will learn more about the world of the Giants. They will use their knowledge to create miniature habitat dioramas from sustainable craft materials.

Creative Workshops for Kids explore different art and creative forms to help young people learn more about our exhibitions and collection without their grown-ups present.
