About Member Event: Scotland’s Jurassic Mammals
Join our curators for an exclusive online Member event to learn about the mammals that lived in Scotland during the middle Jurassic period.
Stig Walsh, Senior Curator of Vertebrate Palaeobiology, will be joined by Dr Elsa Panciroli, NERC Independent Research Fellow, who will share findings from recent research.
Elsa will discuss the fossils that are found on regular fieldwork trips to the Isle of Skye and highlight key fossils from our own collections. Find out how these fossils are providing new insights into mammal evolution and challenging our understanding of life in Scotland 166 million years ago.
