About Morning Curator Tour: Monkeys: Our Primate Family

Join our exhibition curator for an exclusive early morning tour of 'Monkeys: Our Primate Family'.

'Monkeys: Our Primate Family' is the first exhibition of its kind to show primate taxidermy specimens behaving as they would in the wild.

Join us before normal opening hours to explore this special exhibition with its curator, Dr Andrew Kitchener.

The tour will bring you face to face with some of the rarest and most endangered primate species on Earth. Explore their remarkable lives and discover how primates have adapted to survive in different habitats.

Find out about the ongoing conservation efforts in the wild which help primates’ continued survival despite the threat of extinction through hunting and habitat loss.

Dr Andrew Kitchener is Principal Curator of Vertebrate Biology at National Museums Scotland and curator of 'Monkeys: Our Primate Family'.
