Discover the Second World War history of East Fortune this half term.

Discover the history of one of Britain’s best-preserved Second World War airfields. Our costumed interpreter will take you through Air Raid Precautions and talk about the shelters on site, explaining what it was like to use them.

Handle genuine military flying clothing from the period and discover what was good and bad about it.

Then explore the site with our new satchels for families and adults, featuring puzzles to solve for alone or together as a group.

Access

The site is wheelchair accessible and wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge. 

The hangars have ramped access, however, due to the historic nature of our collection, Concorde is not accessible to everyone. 

Adapted toilets are available. 

Guide dogs, hearing dogs and other recognised assistance dogs are admitted.
