We are delighted to invite National Museums Scotland Members and Patrons to an exclusive Preview Day of Doctor Who Worlds of Wonder before the exhibition opens to the general public.

A thrilling exploration of the science behind the long-running hit series, Doctor Who, this must-see exhibition brings a scientific perspective to The Doctor's adventures, drawing on content from across the full canon of Doctor Who. Is time travel possible? Could complex life exist on other planets? And what would you sound like as a Dalek?

How to book

Tickets are available to Members and Patrons only.

As we expect this to be a popular exhibition, to ensure you get the most out of your visit, you will need to pre-book a timed ticket.

Last entry is at 18:00. There will be a queueing system in place at the exhibition entrance and our Visitor Experience team will ensure that you can enter the exhibition as quickly and safely as possible.

Please note if you would like to visit the exhibition after 16:45, you will need to enter via the Lothian Street entrance.

Access

We want everyone who comes to our museums to enjoy their time with us and make the most of their visit. 

 

  • There is level access to the Museum via the main doors to the Entrance Hall on Chambers Street and the Tower entrance at the corner of Chambers Street and George IV Bridge. 
  • Lifts are available to all floors and accessible toilets are available on most floors, as well as a Changing Places (U) toilet in the Entrance Hall on Level 0.
  • There is an induction loop in the Auditorium.
  • Guide dogs, hearing dogs and other recognised assistance dogs are admitted.
