Helmet of burnished white metal, with brass mounts ornamented in repousse with dragons, cane stem supporting two strips of fur, bead network and gilt metal dome with red coral stem and two tinsel-decorated quills, curtain of gold brocade, bordered with black velvet and ornamented with brass studs, part of the ceremonial armour of Zhang Chaofa, admiral and governor of the Zhoushan islands: China, 1830-1840
