Description

Man's coat of brown figured silk, high neckline with no collar, shaped front and full skirt which is interlined, possibly with horsehair, deep turn-back cuffs faced with pale blue silk, coat lined with pale blue silk, cuffs and pockets trimmed with silver lace: English, about 1740
