Physical description

Oval lead-glazed earthenware dish with central moulded decoration depicting ‘The Battle of the Centaurs and Lapiths’, with details in green, yellow, blue and black glazes, and outlined in green with a narrow border of mottled blue and black glazes. Surrounded by a border on the rim with mottled blue and black glazes and with four elongated oval cartouches with green borders. The reverse with mottled blue and black glazes.
