Evening coat

Description

Woman's evening coat, in black silk woven with a bold floral design with a gold-coloured metallic ground and large flowers in shades of blue, green, yellow and red, large folding collar faced with brown fur, possible mink or sable, full-length sleeves and centre front opening, lined with black silk, belonged to the donor's grandmother, Lilian Laws: British or French, c. 1920 - 1930
