Hatchet or dao with head, probably of iron, attached to a thick wooden shaft covered with a pitch-like substance and with braided decoration of red and yellow bands, and plaited and matted lengths of probably dyed goat's hair: Indian, Assam, Naga, late 19th - early 20th century
