Highland bagpipe

Description

Set of Highland bagpipes, possibly of ebony, mounted with bone and horn and having a green cloth bag, 18th century, the drones may originally have been in a common stock for a bellows-blown bagpipe and have been adapted or 'rebuilt' in separate stocks with a new chanterr by Peter Henderson, Glasgow, late 19th century
