Jug of stonepaste fritware with bulbous pear-shaped body resting on a low circular foot ring, covered with blue and green scale patterns separated by split palmate borders and allover textural covering akin to the engraved decoration of contemporary metalwork: Turkey, Iznik, Ottoman, 987 - 992 AH / 1580 - 1585 AD
