Ostracon

Description

Ostracon (inscribed limestone flake) with a prayer written in Coptic by an Egyptian called Frange, asking for the blessings of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: Ancient Egyptian, Upper Egypt, Thebes, Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, probably found in the 18th Dynasty tomb of the vizier Amenemope, Coptic period, c. 650-700 AD
