Painting on paper mounted on wooden board under clear perspex. Painted in shades of blue, red, pink, purple and green in watercolour wash, pencil and black chalk. Part of the image is collaged with a secondary layer of paper with same image and materials. Signature in pencil at bottom right of front 'Klein '79'. Image is abstracted from photographic reproduction of an Iresine plant (K.2010.94.1157.1). Back of wooden mount with notes handwritten in ink 'Lanzarote / Bernat Klein', '5', 'Top'. Perspex attached to front of mount by five metal clips and screws.
