Description

Length of silk fabric, woven in grey-brown and white with a repeating design of stepped diamond shapes, fabric is reversible, white with brown diamond shapes on one side, brown with white diamond shapes on the other, double cloth and ribbed, one of ten pieces which previously formed the same mantua or dress: possibly English, mid 18th century
