National Museums Scotland has an established National Programme, comprising of loans, touring exhibitions, learning and outreach programmes, collections advice and training, national projects, partnerships and administration of the National Fund for Acquisitions. A new phase of our National Programme will begin in 2021.

National Programme Consultation

We would like to develop the activities and priorities for this new 2021-2025 Programme in consultation with relevant stakeholders, particularly our colleagues in other museums across the country. To facilitate this we have arranged a series of informal events around Scotland to allow direct discussion with colleagues on current National Programme activities and to hear your thoughts on how we progress these in the future. Details of these events can be found below.

If you would like to speak to us directly please contact us on partnerships@nms.ac.uk to arrange this or share your views. We would also welcome the opportunity to attend any group meetings in the coming months where anyone would like to discuss the future programme, for example regional forums, subject specialist network meetings or advisory groups.
