With over 3.1 million visits across all of our museums, and nearly 2.2 million visitors to the National Museum of Scotland alone, our success in 2018 has helped to enhance our position as one of the most popular museum groups in the world.

Join us to hear more about our work over the past year and our future plans at the Annual Open Evening which takes place on Wednesday 21 November from 6.00pm to 7.30pm in the auditorium of the National Museum of Scotland.

Director, Dr Gordon Rintoul will give an overview of the year and Dr Stuart Allan will introduce the summer exhibition for 2019.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival.

This is a free event but advanced booking is essential. Call 0300 123 6789 or book online.

Please arrive via our Lothian Street / Brighton Street entrance at the back (south side) of the National Museum of Scotland.
