Our free guided themed tours at the National Museum of Scotland explore everything from Scotland's history to the supernatural.

Themed tours take place every day at 15:00 and have a different theme every day. Themed tours are subject to guide availability and some titles may change. 

Our free public guided tours are for adult individuals and small groups (up to six people only). If you are visiting as part of a larger group please see our booked tours.

Chambers Street, George IV Bridge and other nearby roads will be closed to traffic on Sunday 24 June for the Let's Ride UK cycling festival. The museum will be open to the public as usual.
