Taking over the museum’s stunning Grand Gallery, the evening includes entry to the Rip It Up exhibition for some last-minute cramming before the quiz kicks off, with bars and food options to keep quizzers on top of their game.

With content devised by Edinburgh’s very own Dr Paul, there’s something for rock’n’roll aficionados and pop lightweights alike, so get your team together for 2018’s biggest quiz night, promising some challenges, lots of entertainment and of course top prizes for the winning team.

“I went to see the Rip It Up exhibition for my birthday this year which was quite the treat. I had loved a bunch of Scottish music acts throughout my life, but to see them all gathered together like this was quite awe inspiring. Having spent 18 years working on a pop quiz, and having recently moved to Fife, the fine folk at Rip It Up have asked me to host THE BIG SCOTTISH POP QUIZ. It should be a top night. Get a team together!” – Phill Jupitus
