Join our Photo Challenge and help us celebrate Scotland's wildlife in all its beauty and diversity.

Inspired by the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, the Wild Scotland Photo Challenge is a chance to get out, explore and celebrate the flora, fauna and diverse rural and urban environments found in Scotland.

To join the challenge, simply upload your photo to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #WildScotlandChallenge and the hashtag for the current theme.

You'll be able to see all the images in the Wild Scotland gallery, and every fortnight we'll be issuing a new challenge, with prizes available for our favourite photos. The new theme will be announced here, and on Twitter and Instagram.

Prizes include tickets to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, National Museums Scotland Membership, Membership of Edinburgh Zoo, tickets to the National Museum of Flight and Rural Life and some lovely gifts from our shop.

The challenge runs from Friday 19 January – Sunday 29 April 2018 and is open to anyone aged 13+.

Theme of the fortnight: #ZooLife

20 – 29 April 2018

Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park are home to over 1,200 animals, from native Scottish species to rare and endangered animals from around the world. For our final challenge, we're asking you to share your wild animal pictures from these sites for a chance to win an RZSS Membership.
